Polysaccharide found in the seaweed kombu, U-fucoidan, discovered to cause cancer cells to self-destruct Biomedical Research Laboratories of Takara Shuzo (CEO Hisashi Omiya) and Research Institute for Glycotechnology Advancement, a company funded by the Bio-oriented Technology Research Institute (CEO: Kazue Fukushi), have discovered that a polysaccharide known as U-fucoidan, which is found in kombu and other types of brown seaweed (wakame, mozuku, Limu and hijiki), causes various types of established cancer cell lines to self-destruct. - www.takara-bio.co.jp

Immune System Support
In the age of "super bugs" and stress related illness, a healthy immune system has never been more important. research gives evidence to their immune enhancing effects of Limu and Colostrum.
Cardiovascular Health
Stress, poor diet and sedentary lifestyles are common today. It's no wonder why heart disease remains the number one killer. Obviously, positive lifestyle changes can help reverse the problems, but nature has created a cavalry to come to the rescue, antioxidants. Antioxidants, each playing a key role in cardiovascular health. Grape skin and grape seed extracts are a rich source of powerful Polyphenols, Resveritrol and Anthocyanins. Along with these extracts, Cranberry and Elderberry, which contain antioxidants as well. Antioxidants neutralize free-radicals, the main cause of cellular and organ damage
Hormonal Balance
The hormonal or endocrine system controls everything from hot flashes to testosterone levels, from metabolic function to repair and regeneration cycles of our cells. As we age, the hormonal levels change and the ability to repair and regenerate is reduced. Colostrum contains FGF & IGF - 1 and other growth factors that help balance the hormonal system and aid in supporting the repair process in the body.
Gastrointestinal Health
Stomach ailments are among the top complaints from patient to doctor. Over 70% of the immune system resides in the gastrointestinal tract. IGF in colostrum promotes normal gastrointestinal function as does Fucoidan, Cranberry and Elderberry.
Neurological Health
Mood, memory and clear mental focus, these are all functions of your neurological system. In 1996, researchers discovered that 8 Essential Sugars called Glyconutrients were responsible in part for normal cell-to-cell communication.
Osteoporosis and Arthritis
Osteoporosis and arthritis are just two examples of age related maladies that affect this system. Patented Sacred Lotus Seed extract contains an enzyme, Methyl Transferase (MT) that helps repair protein and collagen, the building blocks of joints, muscle and bone. IGF from colostrum helps to stimulate increased lean muscle mass.
Fucoidan Widely Studied Around the World
The benefits of Fucoidan have been reported in over 700 scientific studies worldwide. Fucoidan has been shown to promote optimal health utilizing a variety of pathways: Fucoidans optimize the natural killer cell (NK) function, your first line of immune defense.
- Fucoidan promotes a healthy immune response by increasing macrophage production, and enhancing its phagocytic activity which help the body get rid of viruses, bacteria, fungus, and parasites. (Ponce NM), (Khotimchenko IuS), (Angstwurm K), (Schaeffer DJ)
- Fucoidan helps to maintain healthy upper respiratory mucous membranes which when weakened may increase the incidence of Bronchitis, Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and other pulmonary diseases. (Davis TA)
- Fucoidan strengthens the mucosal lining of the digestive and urinary tracts. (Mourao PA)
- Fucoidan is a powerful free-radical neutralizer. (Davis TA)
- Fucoidan is important for normal blood sugar level, and to support liver function. (Davis TA)
- Fucoidan is important for healthy hair, nails and skin tone. (Davis TA)
Laminaria Japonica - The Queen of Seaweeds
Although there are many types of seaweeds around the coasts of the Pacific Ocean, it is the species Laminaria Japonica that has been shown to have the greatest healing benefits. The reason for its miraculous healing properties is its concentration of a specific fucoidan known as U-Fucoidan. Other healing compounds stored in this most beneficial seaweed are antioxidants, including polyphenols, amino acids, essential fatty acids including DHA, essential glyconutrients, organic minerals, vitamins; especially B12, live plant enzymes, alginates for detoxification of heavy metals and laminarin shown to reduce abnormal blood clotting.
Glyconutrients - Sugars that heal
The Greek word “glyco” means “sweet”. Hence, “glyconutrients” means “sweet nutrient”. (Glyconutrients are complex sugars). In 1996, eight glyconutrients were identified to be involved in the cellular communication processes. The essential glyconutrients facilitate cell to cell communication, support the immune system, and promote proper functioning of the nervous and endocrine system. Glyconutrients are important factors in keeping the cardiovascular system functioning at an optimum level. They aid the body in keeping cholesterol and triglycerides in normal healthy ranges. Glyconutrients have been shown to increase endurance, enhance reproductive function and reverse infertility. They also support healthy skin and promote skin firmness. (Mondoa)
Red Cranberries - Big Benefits
Cranberries naturally acidify the urine, and create an environment necessary for a healthy urinary tract, urinary bladder and kidneys. (Ahuja S), A recent study suggests that antioxidants in cranberry extracts are beneficial for healthy cardiovascular system, immune system, and skin. (Wilson T)
Red Grape Skin & Red Grape Seeds - Powerful Antioxidants
Red wine has long been touted for its cardiovascular health benefits. Now, new research reveals that the grapes from which wine is made contain antioxidant compounds that may effectively lower cholesterol and triglycerides. Red wine is a rich source of Polyphenols, Resveratrol, Pterostilbene and Anthocyanins. Grapes also contain vitamin C, lutein, and zeaxanthin, compounds that are necessary for healthy heart and clean arteries. (Rimando, A. M.)
Antioxidant benefits include the following:
- Supports healthy cardiovascular system, and promotes optimal blood flow (Kiziltepe U)
- Protects DNA and RNA from free-radical damage (Fu ZD)
- Strengthens the Immune system (Cao Z), (Zhang S)
- Demonstrates a non-steroidal, and anti-inflammatory activity (Evers DL), (Donnelly LE)
- Supports healthy female endocrine system (Donnelly LE)
- Provides support for proper vision (Davis TA)
- Protects brain and nerves from oxidative (free-radical) damage (Fu ZD)
Lo Han Kuo - The Fruit of Longevity
Lo Han Kuo fruit belongs to the melon family and is a native to Asia, where it is consumed on a daily basis. It is a rich source of glyconutrients, and it is 250 times sweeter than refined sugar, with no effect on blood sugar. (Zhongyao)
Sacred Lotus Seed
Long revered in Asia for its “age-defying” qualities, this seed has been found to:
- Nourish the heart
- Maintain healthy blood flow
- Aid tranquility
- Improve sleep
- Promote healthy digestion
- Support healthy connective tissue and skin tone
