The Athena, Melody and Venus have a flow control lever allowing them to match the flow rate any ionizer. This feature allows for an equal flow rate comparison between the Athena and any other model. The Rob's "review" video, shown above, uses various flow rates making it impossible to provide a fair comparison.

Tune a Water Ionizer to a Specific pH?

Unless there's an on-board pH meter, the user is left to guess at the pressure or flow rate or measure the pH everytime the ionizer is used. The flow control lever is unique to the Venus, Melody and Athena. Tune it. Turn it on. Match your exact choosen pH everytime.

How To Accurately Reproduce pH With Each Glass?

The Tyent 7070 makes it impossible to reproduce the same pH with multiple uses. Shown here are the six settings allowing the user to select a general range of pH, rather than a specific pH.

For example some users will want to drink stronger alkaline water by selecting the 2nd (medium) and 3rd (strong) setting. How would they know the pH level their drinking? Without testing every glass the user is left to guess.

pH is measured on a logrythmic scale. A single whole digit will increase or decrease the pH strength by half.
